Any niche you choose, you want to be able to enjoy it. You won't be making money right away. It may take you months or even years to start seeing the type of money you want to make. If you like the niche, it helps you stick it out longer. Don't focus on the money, focus on the enjoyment of the niche. Because when you're no longer an email marketing newbie and know how to make money with email marketing, you can make a lot of money with any niche you choose.

When you create your first email marketing campaign, you want people to know who you are and what you're about. Here are a few emails you need to have to build that trust.
The Introduction
In order to build instant trust, you want to introduce yourself and give a little background on why people should listen to and trust you. Let them know you're emailing them to either entertain them, update them, or help them out with a specific problem. Whatever it is, you want the following emails to demonstrate that goal you have in mind for them.
Free Content Emails
Free content will be the majority of your emails in the series. You want people to open your emails at a higher rate to either send traffic to a specific site you're trying to build like a YouTube channel or just an update or tip you have for them without sending them to any site. Go directly to the people with the problems. Forums are excellent traffic sources because people are asking specific questions and you can answer those questions. Register to a forum that has to do with your niche. Go to the search engines, type in the search bar whatever your niche is and followed by the word "forum". So it'll look like this:

It'll give you a list of forums you can sign up for. Put your squeeze page link in the signature box. Whenever you solve a problem, you'll have a link pointing back to your squeeze page in the signature box.
You want to to try to get them to visit your squeeze page so what you'll do is have it look like this in your signature box:

You can create videos, create an eBook, etc. to give away. You want it to solve a problem so they can opt-in and stay opted in. When you solve a problem, they'll trust you instantly. If want to post a link on a subredit, look for subreddits with very low subscriber counts. In the range of about 1,000-5,000 subscribers. Being that they're trying to build their subreddit, they may overlook the links you're posting. Just make sure you write content-rich text post before you post a link. You may need to post on multiple subreddits to get any real traction.
